Like you, we appreciate a well-fitted garment or accessory made with care and precision, which is why we offer a fit guarantee.

Order Policy

Our custom-made garments are one-of-a-kind and we will make every effort to deliver you garments that have a fit personalized just for you. If your garments arrive and you would like to make a fit adjustment we offer complimentary alterations within thirty (30) days of its delivery and notification of arrival. We will gladly remake the garment if you are dissatisfied with the fit after two rounds of alterations.

Our non-custom products can be returned within thirty (30) days of receipt if they are unworn, unaltered, tags attached, and in original packaging. Shipping fees are non-refundable. Alton Lane gift cards are non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and will not be replaced if lost, stolen, or damaged. Alton Lane membership is non-refundable once any membership perk has been applied or activated. Contact customer service with shipping or delivery issues.

Alterations Policy

If you are satisfied with your custom-made garment, but it needs a tweak here or there, we are happy to assist with alterations. In the event that you ordered through a showroom, please book a fitting at any showroom, and our stylists will personally assist in your alterations. If that is not a feasible option you can either take the garment to your favorite tailor or we can refer you to one.

Alterations are covered by Alton Lane for thirty (30) days upon receipt of the garment.

Our patterns are algorithmically based; we only perform key alterations to our garments. As a result, we will only cover the post-production alteration costs of this set list of alterations. Please refer to the list in the fine print. There are no exceptions to the alteration list, as we will not be able to replicate these alterations in future orders.

In select locations, we offer ready-to-wear suits and shirts. We only offer complimentary alterations to our trousers; waist and hem. Ready-to-wear jackets and shirts are sold as-is and are not subject to our alteration offerings.

In the case that alterations and/or a remake do not result in a garment that fits your individual style we will offer a refund. For further details or to begin the process, please contact our Customer Service Team.

Fine Print

Alterations to custom-made garments that are covered within policy and/or eligible for reimbursement by garment. Jacket; sleeve length, jacket length, back collar, midsection. Trouser; waist, seat, length, cuff. Shirt; sleeve length, shirt length, midsection. Alteration costs for reimbursement cannot exceed the following amounts (USD): trousers $35; shirts $30; suits up to 20% of the cost but not to exceed $175: blazers up to 15% of the cost but not to exceed $150 (cost is less taxes and shipping). Alteration reimbursement amounts are subject to change. Alton Lane is not responsible for third-party alterations.

Alton Lane’s alteration, remake, and refund policy is subject to change.
